Good News, Everyone!
Had a 5-week check-up today with the ENT and he said everything looks shipshape! The nose is going to heal perfectly, ears and throat are clear, jaw looks just fine…
It’s reassuring to know that I could go through such a difficult experience and heal not only this well but this quickly! Not to mention deal with him re-breaking it while I was fully awake in his office. Let’s just say I now have a very high pain threshold. The nose will take about a year to fully heal (which is normal) and the concussion still lingers every once in awhile but I’m glad it’s all done and over with.
