Walked into work today to find Crumbs cupcakes from my sister and Andy… and the adorable Peanuts print-out from my coworker Sacha!!!
I made almond cake cupcakes with almond slivers in it and topped it with a fresh raspberry frosting garnished with more almond slivers and a fresh raspberry.
Off to the side you’ll see my pile of oatmeal raisin chocolate chip walnut cookies.
I made all this for my sister-in-law. All she wanted was for me to bake her some things… so I did.
Tomorrow morning I’m making apple sticky buns for breakfast.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Last June, I made Guinness Cupcakes with Baileys Butter Cream Frosting and a Chocolate Ganache filling to celebrate the 24th birthday of Mr. OhSoWonderful, manbythesamename.
So in honor of today’s holiday, head over to my cooking blog for the recipe!

GPOYW - I got to have the Almond/Raspberry cupcake from Sweet Revenge before Marlo even added it to the menu! She’s so wonderful.
After relaxing in Bryant Park and devouring amazing dishes at the Noodle Bar down in Greenwich Village, three lovely ladies dined on coffees, cupcakes and cakes at Sweet Revenge… but not before roaming a hole-in-the-wall bookstore with an amazing Beat Generation collection.
Daniela, Colleen and I had a mini Firenze reunion tonight! I see Daniela a few times a year, however I haven’t seen Colleen in four years. It was such a great girls night out and definitely much-needed. Above is our Sweet Revenge aftermath.
Currently enjoying one of the Pokeball cupcakes I made over the weekend for a friends birthday. You can check more out at my new food blog More Than Burnt Toast!

I made these on Saturday for ifyourehereyoumustbebored’s birthday bash. It was a BBQ so I figured that cheeseburger cupcakes and sugar cookie “french fries” with buttercream frosting “ketchup” would suffice.
