Linus: Do you think that patience is a virtue?
Lucy: Sure… and I’m proud to say that I have a lot of it
Linus: Sooo… you consider your patience as a virtue?
Lucy: DID I NOT TELL YOU THAT?!?!
(I had to look up “orgogliosa” haha… gotta brush up on some vocab)
Also, notice Lucy doesn’t have a mouth in the first panel. When the comics were about to be printed, a lot of the time the editors would see the little dots that usually were a mouth or an eye but they sometimes thought it was a mistake and they’d cover it up right before printing. This happened often.

I guess Linus has a point…
I read an interview with Sparky regarding how he, although they’re children, portrayed them as intellectuals with adult thoughts, feelings, ideas… but then was able to constantly toss their childish actions back and forth against these mature thoughts and that reason is why I’ve always been such an enormous Peanuts fan. Genius. That and because it’d been instilled in me since birth. I had no choice. Thanks, pops.
